This virtual orientation on 12/8 Friday at 8:30-9:30 am PT / 10:30-11:30 am CT / 11:30-12:30 pm ET will introduce to CALA members on following positions open:

• President (4 year term, starts July 1, 2024: first year 24-25 as the Incoming VP; second year 25-26 as the VP; third year 26-27 as the President; and fourth year 27-28 as the Immediate Past President)
• Treasurer (2 year term, starts July 1, 2024: 2024-2026)
• Five Positions for Board of Directors (3 year term, starts July 1, 2024: 2024-2027)

The 2023-2024 Nominating Committee cordially invites you to consider running for the following positions for the 2024 CALA general election.

We are seeking candidates for the following positions: (The duties listed here):

• President (4 year term, starts July 1, 2024: first year 24-25 as the Incoming VP; second year 25-26 as the VP; third year 26-27 as the President; and fourth year 27-28 as the Immediate Past President)
• Treasurer (2 year term, starts July 1, 2024: 2024-2026)
• Five Positions for Board of Directors (3 year term, starts July 1, 2024: 2024-2027)

These positions are critical to the continual development of our organization CALA. Nomination of Board of Directors shall take into consideration the geographical representation. Based on CALA’s Constitution and Bylaws, all nominees must be personal members in good standing with a record of participation in the activities and functions at various levels of CALA. The election will be held in the Spring 2024. The elected officers are expected to attend at least one board meeting each year. Absence from two consecutive board meetings without prior written approval from the President will result in the removal from the CALA Board.

The deadline for submitting the nomination is December 11, 2023.
